I have a life-long love of natural history and of being outdoors in nature. Over the last 17 months, I have become more aware of how nature can really benefit wellbeing. I have a degree in Environmental science from Manchester Metropolitan University and a diploma in field ecology from University College Cork. Currently, I am employed by National Parks & Wildlife Service as an education guide at Wicklow Mountains National Park. Where we offer a free education programme to schools and colleges and special interest natural history events for the general public. I have a particular interest in recording bumblebees, butterflies and moths. And more recently, I have rediscovered a love of wildflowers.
