Aisling Ennis is highly regarded as a harpist and creative thinker who enjoys a successful portfolio career. Aisling is known for her evocative playing across a broad spectrum of genres, her ongoing, multifaceted collaborations and innovative approaches to programming. She has performed internationally as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician.
Recent highlights include solo performances with Irish Chamber Orchestra, her improvised show ‘Moods’ as part of Musictown Festival, her solo recital tour 'Fairy Harp, Ceol Sí' (funded through Wicklow Arts Office) performances with Trio Táin, as well as her adaptation of Mozart's Magic Flute for narrator, flute, viola, harp and soprano for West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival, solo appearances with Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Irish Chamber Orchestra and the release of her debut solo album of compositions entitled ‘The Folly of Melancholy’.
Aisling performs on a Horngacher concert harp, Tomás Mac Uileagóid 'Eala' Irish harps and Camac electric harps.
